In this process, where the second wave of the pandemic was discussed and the importance of wearing a mask was explained through media channels and social networks, this wearable air cleaner device called LG PuriCare was introduced before the IFA Fair. This product, which can prevent the use of disposable masks, draws attention with its technological features.
Uses Two HEPA Filters
The battery-powered mask features two H13 HEPA filters and a breathing sensor, similar to what LG uses in its home air-purifying products. Thanks to the filters, fresh and clean air can be taken both indoors and outdoors. The breathing sensor senses the breathing cycle and volume and adjusts the two three-speed fans.
In this way, breathing is not difficult. The fans accelerate automatically to facilitate air intake. Slowing down while exhaling also reduces resistance. Thanks to the LG ThinQ mobile application, it is possible to learn when the filter needs to be changed.
It Can Run Up To Eight Hours
The fully fitting mask can be used for 2 hours in high mode and 8 hours in low mode thanks to its 820 mAh battery. The storage bag equipped with UV-LED lights can also charge the mask. The PuriCare mask will be available in the fourth quarter of 2020. No official statement has been made about the price yet.
