Apple AirPods headphones can create connection delays after more than 1 year of use. To eliminate this, it is often enough to reset the AirPods.
AirPods can cause various connection problems after a period of use (approximately 1 year). In other words, there may be a delay in the wireless connection. Users who have this problem are knocking on Apple’s door for technical support. However, it is possible to overcome the problem with a simple reset method.
In order to reset the AirPods, it is necessary to access and connect the iPhone or iPad from the headphones in the first place. Since we think that you have a connection problem on the device you are currently using, at this point we access the Settings / Bluetooth section and access the sub-options with the ‘i’ icon on the far right of the AirPods connection
There are two options here, ‘Disconnect’ and ‘Forget This Device’. Just click the ‘Forget This Device’ button and end the process. Then you need to follow the steps below for a new connection.
With Bluetooth turned on on your iPhone or iPad, press and hold the round physical button on the AirPods case, and then connect. After following the steps and completing the installation, AirPods and your phone or tablet are paired again. Thus, connection problems are also eliminated. However, this method mostly eliminates the latency problem experienced in connections.
