Rising in the segment of gaming monitors, LG introduced the new LG UltraGear Nano IPS G-SYNC gaming monitor model, the world’s first 1 millisecond (ms) IPS screen, at the E3 Fair (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2019) held in Los Angles. Using Nano IPS technology, LG UltraGear has two screen sizes, 27 inches and 38 inches. 38-inch (model 38GL950G) and 27-inch (model 27GL850) monitors with 144Hz refresh rate, high screen resolution (38GL950G: 3840 x 1600, 27GL850: 2560 x 1440) and wide color gamut (DCI-P3 98 percent) .
LG UltraGear 27 inch
The 27-inch UltraGear monitor, which has a QHD curved screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, has a refresh rate of 144Hz. Bearing the model number 27GL850, the 27-inch monitor supports HDR10. The NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible monitor comes with upgraded Sphere Lighting 2.0. The 27-inch model has 2x HDMI ports and 1x DisplayPort. The 27-inch model is priced at $499, with pre-orders starting July 1, 2019.
LG UltraGear 38 inch
The 38-inch UltraGear Nano IPS monitor bearing the model number 38GL950G has a UWQHD+ panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels. Supporting NVIDIA G-SYNC, VESA DisplayHDR 400, the model has 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort input. The LG UltraGear 38-inch model has a price tag of 1999 dollars.
